Just a few words on the current situation of Mexico's Armed forces which I believe is pathetic and a disgrace to us. It is such a disgrace that even the Mexican General, and head of the National Defence Secretariat, Guillermo Galvan Galvan has demanded from the government that the Military's budget be increased by 2012 (La Jornada, 10 de Octubre 2007)

If we are to be a true people and a true nation then we are to have the proper means to defend ourselves from all aggressors, both foreign and domestic such as the narco pigs. Some exaggerated pacifists seek to abolish our armed forces while fascists within our community seek to make them the ruling body. I don’t need to explain why both of these ideas are stupid and dangerous. But what is for certain is that Mexico needs a competent branch of armed forces to defend the fatherland and to better apply the current military plan in Mexico called DN-III (used for disaster relief).

The Mexican army stands with approximately 230,000 active personnel ready for combat. The army is armed with the standard issue G3 rifle with plans to replace it with the new FX-05 Xiuhcoatl rifle (Made in Mexico). Now that Mexico has created it’s own rifle this should give us a little sense of pride, so let’s give ourselves a little pad on the back. But wait! Is that it? What about the other dozens of things that Mexico needs to catch up with; such as technology, armor, artillery, surveillance craft, modern radar, planes, boats, and a solid military industry complex?

Well, neither the Army nor the navy have any tracked combat tanks such as the Abrams, Leopard 2 tanks, or even the Russian T-90. Instead they have about 120 French Erc 90 Sagaie armored vehicles that carry a 90mm gun turret. These vehicles are not too shabby for urban combat but what will they ever hope for if Mexico is attacked with any of the tanks mentioned above? Personally I think this is pathetic and it angers me that Mexican politicians do not give a shit about Mexico’s defense. Instead these politicians worry more about how much goes into their pocket than how many bullets the armed forces can afford with their menial budget; approximately .5% of Mexico’s annual GDP, which is about 10 Billion dollars.

Right now would be a very good time to mention that Mexican politicians are among the most highly paid in the world (Grayson 2006). The Navy contains another approximate 37,000 soldiers with some 300 ships, including patrol boats, and offshore patrol vessels, and about 70 aircraft. Again, these ships are not too bad but they are no more than a coastguard rather than a blue-water navy.

What we as a people need to do is get things straight, clean up our act and get a decent army for the nation and take away those ridiculous salaries that these corrupt politicians are stealing from taxpaying Mexican citizens. We must do this by whatever means possible no matter if we have to vote for it or go to war for it. If these bureaucratic pigs want to continue to oppress us then we must overthrow them with force as our great grandfathers did 100 years ago. It is time for change, and it is dam time to wake up our sleeping people who are kept down by corrupt politicians and foreign interests that attack our own.

Wake up Mexico!!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!
